Grid 10 Details

It didn’t take long for people to start dubbing the Grid 10 tablet as the “JooJoo 2”, although the staff at Fusion Garage prefer the 2 devices weren’t associated with one another. The launch of the Grid 10 tablet is coupled with an announcement of the new Fusion Garage app store and Grid Shop.

Another thing that makes the Grid 10 tablet PC stand out is the fact that it has the highest screen resolution compared to all other tablets on the market. It’s 1366 x 768 pixel resolution combined with the power of the Nvidia Tegra II processor make it both super fast with visually stunning graphics.

The company also made it clear in today’s announcement that they are big supporters of Microsoft Bing, the better of the 2 search engines according to Rathakrishnan. The GridOS operating system is unique and will run numerous dedicated GridOS apps, but it is based on the Android kernel and for the many Android fans among us you’ll be happy to know the tablet will in fact support Android apps as well.

The Grid 10 comes preloaded with numerous useful apps including:

  • VideoCall
  • Browser
  • Message Center
  • Video Gallery
  • Contacts
  • Photos
  • Maps
  • Calendar
  • The Wheel
  • Beat
  • Music Gallery
  • Seamless State

You can pre-order the Grid 10 now on Amazon and the tablet is scheduled to ship by September 15th.
