Workaround For Galaxy Tab 10.1 Restart Issue
Some people have reported an issue of their Galaxy Tab 10.1 not rebooting after a software update. In case you’re not already aware Samsung is rolling out another major software update for Galaxy Tab 10.1 owners on August 3rd which is just around the corner. There may or may not be a reboot issue with this update, but either way it doesn’t hurt to know how to reset your Galaxy Tab just in case.
Step 01: While device is off press and hold Volume Up and Power
Step 02: Once Samsung logo appears let go of Power & Volume Up buttons
Step 03: Press and hold Volume Down
How To Unroot Your Galaxy Tab 10.1
If you have rooted your Galaxy Tab 10.1 and need to reverse this for whatever reason you’ll be glad to know it’s really quite simple to do so.
Stage 1: Backup/Restore ROM on Galaxy Tab 10.1
Step 1: Download and install free ROM Manager app from the Android Market
Step 2: Launch ROM Manger and tap “Backup Current ROM“.
Step 3: Select any desired name for your backup
Stage 2: Unrooting Your Galaxy Tab 10.1
Step 1: Download tabunroot.zip file
Step 2: Simultaneously hold Volume Down and Power buttons until your tablet reboots
Step 3: Once rebooted 2 menus should appear. Press Volume Up to enter ODIN download mode
Step 4: Launch and execute Odin3v1.85.exe
Step 5: Select PDA, then the stockretail.tar.md5 file then tap Start
Step 6: Press and hold the Power button to reboot your device
After you’ve followed all of these steps and your Galaxy Tab 10.1 reboots it should now be back to its original stock/factory settings and successfully unrooted.
How To Overclock Your Galaxy Tab 10.1
NOTE: You shouldn’t run into any issues with this hack but just to be safe it’s recommended that you follow the step by step instructions above to backup your rooted ROM just in case.

Step 2: Using ROM Manger reboot your device into ClockworkMod Recovery

Step 4: Reboot your device
Step 5: Purchase and download the setCPU Android app (only costs about the same as a cup of coffee)
Step 6: Using any free file manager app unzip and install setCPU
That’s it, you’re all set and your Galaxy Tab 10.1 should now be running smoothly at a much quicker speed.
