Ready, set, uh, well I can’t say “GO” yet but get ready for the launch of the official Race of Champions® mobile game which will be available this October for both Android and iOS devices. That’s right folks, strap on your seat belt and get ready for the green light because Race of Champions® is coming soon to the Apple iPad as well as an Android tablet near you!

If you’re a fan of the annual Race of Champions® racing event then this is exciting news. Heck, even if you’ve never heard of the event, who doesn’t like to play a fun and realistic racing game with stunning 3D graphics? The new game will be developed and published by Invictus Games, a European based company, and in a recent press release Tamas Kozak stated the following:

We are thrilled to be given the opportunity to work with the Race Of Champions franchise, the concept of the event provides us with the basis for a highly original race game concept which combined with our custom built racing technology will provide racing fans with a truly unique experience.

Some game specialists are already claiming that this upcoming racing game might very well be the most technologically advanced game of its kind for mobile based platforms.

There’s no doubt this game will truly be state of the art. It will certainly raise the bar, or should I say pave the way, for future mobile games.

As mentioned above, the new game will be launched and available this October which is not long before this years annual ROC event which will take place this December in Düsseldorf which is the capital city of North Rhine-Westphalia located in Germany.

The upcoming mobile version of the game will include actual cars and tracks from the event which will make it even more fun and realistic. There will be different game modes to choose from and you can challenge friends and other racers either off-road style or on the tarmac.

IMP, the company that organizes the actual real-life event, is also thrilled about this game release. Their president Fredrik Johnsson had this to say:
