Specs for Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab S4 Android 8.0 Oreo tablet appear to have recently been leaked. Similar to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 which was released last year, the Galaxy Tab S4 looks like it will be quite a powerful and high-end tablet PC.
The detailed leak for the Galaxy Tab S4, or device model number SM-T835, comes courtesy of benchmark site GFXBench. If these specs are in fact for the Galaxy Tab S4, this will be Samsung’s most powerful tablet PC released to date.
After Samsung revealed their Galaxy Tab S3 at MWC 2017, the mobile device went on to become one of the most popular high-end tablets of the year among consumers. So, assuming that Samsung will reveal the newest addition to their tablet PC lineup at the 2018 Mobile World Congress is not far fetched. If that’s the case, Samsung could have another winner on their hands that will possibly give other tablet PC manufacturers a run for their money in 2018. Of course Samsung solely showcasing their Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphones at MWC 2018 is also a possibility. I suppose we’ll find out soon enough.
As you can see by the above image, the Galaxy Tab S4 sports some pretty impressive specs. For starters it will be powered by a 2.3 GHz octa-core processor and feature the Snapdragon 835 SoC (system on chip). The GFXBench listing indicates a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display with a pixel resolution of 2560 x 1600. It also mentions that the device will come equipped with the Qualcomm Adreno 540 GPU. This will make the tablet PC great for playing 3D games!
Other notable specs include a 12-megapixel rear-camera, 8-megapixel camera on the front, 64 GB of internal storage and 4GB RAM. We also anticipate that the device will have AKG tuned speakers and be available in both LTE and WiFi only versions.
