Mark your calendars and save the date for August 31, 2017 where Lenovo will be holding a special product keynote in Berlin, Germany, at IFA 2017.
The IFA 2017 trade show doesn’t officially commence until September 01, 2017, but Lenovo has officially confirmed that they’ll be holding a special product keynote one day ahead of the event. Lenovo is one of the biggest tech companies in China, and with this recent announcement there’s a lot of anticipation and speculation regarding what new devices the popular hardware manufacturer will be revealing to soon hit the market.
At this time we can’t say for sure exactly what new products Lenovo will be unveiling but chances are we’ll see some new laptops, hybrid devices, smartphones, and hopefully some new Lenovo Tab Android tablets. There’s also no guarantee but there have been rumors floating around of a potential new Motorola (or Moto) tablet. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for that!
It seems Lenovo has been facing somewhat of an identity crisis in regards to their subsidiary company Motorola so it will be interesting to see what new devices are announced at IFA 2017 by the device manufacturer. In recent weeks Motorola has unveiled their all new Moto Z2 Play and the affordable new Moto E4 handsets so it’s possible but probably unlikely that they’ll be introducing any new smartphones at this year’s IFA event, especially considering they have another product launch set to take place later this month on July 25 in New York City. IFA 2017 is now less than two months away and will take place between September 01 to 06. Other original equipment manufacturers (OEM) will also be in attendance at IFA 2017 such as Sony who coincidentally will also be holding a keynote on August 31 just ahead of Lenovo.
