Lenovo recently announced at the Tech World event in China that they’ll soon be offering red and white versions of their popular Yoga Book.
That’s right, the popular Lenovo Yoga Book 2-in-1 tablet PC is getting a new paint job! It’s expected that Ruby Red and Pearl White color options for both the Windows and Android versions of the Yoga Book will be available soon and ready to ship by September. That’s just in time for back to school, is that a coincidence? You be the judge.
Some are excited about the news of having more color choices while others were expecting further announcements of a beefier and updated version of the Yoga Book tablet. At this time there hasn’t been any word of hardware updates for the new Yoga Book tablets that are scheduled to hit store shelves this September. Time will tell of course, but it sure would be nice to see at least a few specs updated for the upcoming one year anniversary of the Yoga Book which was announced at IFA and released back in the fall of 2016. But it’s possible that won’t be the case until if or when Lenovo flaunts a new Yoga Book 2 model.
The Lenovo Yoga Book was a Red Dot Design Award winner in 2016. It boasts a futuristic Halo keyboard, 2.4GHz quad-core Intel Atom x5-Z8550 processor, 4GB of RAM, a 10-inch HD display with 1200×1920 pixel resolution, dual cameras, support for Bluetooth 4.0, 4G / LTE connectivity, and a long lasting 8500 mAh battery that enables you to use the device all day long on a single charge. Overall it’s a pretty slick tablet PC.
So, if you’re looking to purchase a new tablet PC for the upcoming 2017/2018 back to school year you may want to consider the Lenovo Yoga Book.
The cost of Lenovo’s Yoga Book starts at $549 USD for the Windows 10 version and $499 USD for the Android version of the slate.
