Comments Off on Newly Designed 10.5-inch iPad Pro 2 Expected to Arrive Next Month Apple, Mobile News, Tablets & Technology

If rumors prove to be true, Apple could possibly be announcing the release of an all new 10.5-inch iPad Pro 2 during next months WWDC event. That’s right, the popular iPad is getting revamped once again (or so we expect)! We don’t know when for sure, but there’s been a lot of speculation and anticipation around a June launch.

A photo was leaked recently which indicates the production of a Metropolis Folio Case by Under Armor Gear for the 10.5-inch iPad. This photo is not all that revealing but it does display a due date for June 2017, if that’s an indication of anything concrete. This of course is no confirmation of a June release of the iPad Pro 2, but it’s enough to create buzz around the possibility.

One major difference that will separate the 10.5-inch iPad Pro 2 from it’s 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch predecessors will of course be the screen size. It’s expected that the new Apple iPad Pro 2 will fit a larger display area by shrinking the bezels and extending the display even further towards each corner of the device.

Some trusted sources are also reporting the possibility of the 10.5-inch iPad sporting a Touch ID scanner that will be embedded on the screen itself and doing away with the home button all together (biometrics for the win!). Whether or not Apple would unveil such a feature on an iPad ahead of the launch of the iPhone 8 is another question however.

Although consumers are more focused on the release of new flagship smartphones and the demand for new slates seems to be in a decline at this time, I’m sure many people will still gladly welcome the arrival of a new and improved iPad.

So, will we see the release of the iPad Pro 2 next month? Only time will tell for sure. We’ll find out more at WWDC17. Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference will be held this year on June 5th – 9th in San Jose, CA at the McEnery Convention Center.
