Mumbai based consumer electronics company iBall has announced the launch of their latest mobile device, the 10-inch Slide Elan 4G2 tablet PC with 4G VoLTE support.
At this point we don’t know exactly when it will go on sale, but it’s expected to be available very soon at select Indian retail stores. It’s an affordable new Android based tablet computer at only Rs. 13,999, which is just under $300 CAD going by today’s currency exchange rate.
iBall Slide Elan 4G2 Specifications
The specs of this new Android tablet are quite impressive for the price point. It comes installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and, as mentioned above, has 4G Voice over Long-Term Evolution (VoLTE) connectivity support for super fast wireless Internet speeds. The device also supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, GPS / A-GPS and USB OTG connectivity.
The Slide Elan 4G2 tablet PC is capable of conducting voice calls but voice calling is only supported via the handset’s earphones. With its 7000 mAh battery, iBall claims you should get an entire day of use on a single charge.
It also comes equipped with 10.1 inch IPS HD display which has a pixel resolution of 1280×800. It has two cameras with a 2MP front camera and a 5MP rear camera. The camera’s have some nifty features such as face detection and multi angle on the front camera and LED flash and autofocus capabilities on the rear camera.
Other specs include a Cortex A53 quad-core processor that clocks in at a speed of 1.3 GHz which is a descent CPU. It also comes equipped with a Mali-T720 GPU as well as 2GB of RAM.
It has 16GB of internal storage with expandable storage of up to 32GB via its microSD card slot.
The newly announced device also comes with some India-tailored features including a keyboard that supports 21 Indian regional languages as well as system wide support for 9 Indian regional languages at this time. In addition, there’s also a “Cast Screen” feature for mirroring so you can view what’s on your Slide Elan 4G2 Android tablet from your TV.
