Taiwanese tech giant HTC proves once again that not all Android smartphones are created equal. Specs and new images for the upcoming HTC U11 EYEs flagship phone are now available.
Similar to the HTC U11 launched last year, the U11 EYEs will come with Edge Sense technology. In other words you’ll simply be able to squeeze the phone to perform tasks such as take photos, launch Android apps and more. Using Edge Sense you can also launch HTC’s very own built-in voice assistant.
Not much was known until recently about the camera features and qualities for the U11 EYEs. Thanks to recent leaks however we now know the phone will have dual 5MP front cameras and a 12MP UltraPixel 3 rear camera with UltraSpeed autofocus. Last year’s HTC U11 camera outranked both the Google Pixel and Galaxy S8 for overall camera quality and HTC is touting another extremely high DxOMark score for the U11 EYEs. The front cameras also have the ability to provide the bokeh effect that everyone is obsessed about nowadays. Other camera features will include face unlock by squeezing the phone, AR sticker mode and beauty mode.
As of now the color options that we know of that are available for the U11 EYEs include black, blue and cherry red.
