In less than one month a special one day event will be taking place called Clean Slate. It’s a conference geared towards educating people about the current and future impact of tablet computers on society. It’s being held on July 19, 2011 at The Westin New York at Times Square.

Today’s new tablet economy continues to evolve at a rapid rate. This is changing the way we conduct business and communicate among many other things. Traditional ways of advertising are quickly vanishing. This has advertisers and media groups in a frenzy, in some cases not knowing what to do next. The whole point of this conference is to help you understand more as well as prepare for what the future has in store. What I mean by “you” is any company or individual for that matter.
When any new technology takes the world by storm like this it can be intimidating and/or confusing for some, but it really doesn’t have to be. Not everyone is quick to adapt but a lot of times you just need to know the right people and have the proper resources. Today is the first I’ve heard of this conference, so I know just as much (or little) about it as anyone else. I do believe it’s a topic worth covering though and I want to help get the message out there.
There’s a fantastic lineup of guest speakers who will be in attendance and a wide variety of engaging topics will be covered. Like anything else there’s the good, the bad and the ugly and this conference will help shed some light on areas you might not have even thought of otherwise but will ultimately have an impact on you and everyone else either directly or indirectly.
Perhaps you’re an expert when it comes to tablets. Then again, you might be a group of people or individual who has little to no knowledge about touch screen technology. Whatever the case I would bet there will be plenty of useful things to learn by attending this event. It’s a great opportunity to meet like minded people, learn about current and future trends as well as ask questions and share ideas. What do you have to lose?
My mother always told me the world doesn’t stop for anyone. Don’t get left behind or assume you know everything when it comes to tablets. Even if you are highly educated in this area you can still benefit a great deal by helping to teach others. Plus there is always something new to learn no matter what your level of expertise.
If you follow Clean Slate on Twitter they will send you a discount promo code worth $200 off the registration price. One was automatically sent to me, so I would assume it would be the same for anyone else, at least for now while the promo and tickets last.
