The new and improved 2018 Samsung Notebook 7 Spin 2-in-1 device with 360 degree rotation has recently been announced just ahead of this year’s CES electronics trade show.
Samsung is always at the forefront when it comes to mobile device innovation. The company’s 2018 model Notebook 7 Spin sports some really great specs and notable upgrades compared to its predecessor from last year.
This detachable laptop / tablet PC hybrid runs on Windows 10 and is designed with power, performance, creativity and multitasking in mind. The 2018 Notebook 7 Spin is equipped with an Intel Core i5 Quad-core processor and according to Samsung also has a larger battery capacity than the previous model enabling device owners to stay connected and productive longer.
You’ll be happy to know that this model also comes with Active Pen support. The Active Pen is sold separately but is worth the investment. It’s the perfect accessory for making sketches or taking notes during meetings or lectures.
For added security the Notebook 7 Spin will have a Privacy Folder to keep your personal documents and files better protected and using the fingerprint scanning feature you’ll be able to quickly log-in using Windows Hello.
Other notable specs and features include a 13.3″ FHD PLS touchscreen, enhanced Cortana experience, 256GB SSD, 8GB RAM, Voice Note function with a built-in far field microphone and advanced smart recording as well as Samsung Cloud support. With a Samsung account you’ll also benefit from up to 15GB of cloud storage free of charge. Its highly flexible 360 degree rotation capability also makes viewing the screen at any angle easier than ever whether it be tablet mode, laptop mode or tent mode.
Samsung has not yet announced pricing for the Notebook 7 Spin (2018) but has confirmed that it will first become available in the U.S. during Q1 2018 with select countries to follow. If you’re attending CES 2018 you’ll get to be one of the first to see this spiffy new device hands on.
