Finding the best audio and/or video baby monitor apps for your Android smartphone or tablet can be tricky. Many of the options are mediocre at best. That’s why we’ve helped compile an updated list for 2018 of the best Android apps that detect when your baby is crying and keep you notified of your baby’s activity in real-time. We have a 3-month old daughter ourselves at the moment, so I understand how essential having just the right baby monitor app is.
Nancy Baby Monitor
Whether you’re on Wi-fi, 3G or LTE, the Nancy Baby Monitor app works great on your Android device no matter where you are! Enjoy high quality live video and audio streaming and get instant notifications about your baby’s activity via your smartphone or tablet. This app has many great features and at the time of writing this it’s also 100% free to download and use!
I especially like the visuals and interface of this app!
Baby Monitor Annie
With the Baby Monitor Annie app for Android you can monitor up to four children at any given time. It’s a multiplatform cloud cam app with unlimited range via Wi-fi, 3G or LTE. It even has a built in lullaby player to help soothe your baby to sleep. Oh, and it’s highly secure which of course is the most important feature for any parent.
The Baby Monitor Android app is another great option. It will instantly call or text to notify you whenever your baby is crying. You of course have control over the sensitivity levels for the alarm. As an added security feature you can choose to receive a live picture of your baby which is automatically sent to another device if the alarm is triggered. You’ll receive a warning text if your battery is running low too which ensures you never miss a beat.
Next we have the reliable BabyCam app which works as a nanny cam and baby sleep monitor on your Android device via Wi-fi, 4G, LTE or 3G. Monitor your baby in real time and with HD video. View and/or listen to your baby in high quality from anywhere you are located.
Mary Baby Monitor & Alarm Pro
This baby monitoring Android app costs $1.49 but is well worth it. There’s also a free version available if you’d like to check it out. It’s a simple app yet effective with easy to use features such as the ability to adjust the sensitivity of the microphone. You can also choose whatever theme you’d like if you have a baby boy or girl.
