Comments Off on Android App of the Week: LiquidSky PC Cloud Gaming Android App of the Week, Android Apps

LiquidSky is a groundbreaking new high performing gaming PC in the cloud that enables you to play your favorite PC games from anywhere on any Android 6.0+ device!

The Android open beta version of the LiquidSky 2.0 PC game streaming service is now available along with controller support. With the Android app you can easily access your SkyComputer which enables you to access and play your favorite games on your Android tablet or smartphone from your secure gaming library via the cloud.

The LiquidSky service is currently free to use depending on geographical locations where ad partners are available. This currently includes the United States, Canada, and select locations throughout Europe. There are also paid plans available starting as low as $9.99 per month.

Now your Android device can function just like a high end gaming PC thanks to LiquidSky. With LiquidSky you’ll enjoy ultra-low latency (partly depending on your ISP), great graphics even with the latest and most demanding games, and download speeds of up to 10 Gbit/sec. LiquidSky also currently has eight data centers located across the globe and support for 1080p HD resolution as well as 60 frames per second streaming.

LiquidSky play your favorite PC games from any device

Access to LiquidSky is paid for with what are called SkyCredits. With a free membership you can earn additional SkyCredits by participating in interactive ads or by watching video ads. Basically 1 SkyCredit grants you 1 minute of access to your SkyComputer (or 60 SkyCredits for one hour) for the basic Gamer package. For the Pro package you will use 120 SkyCredits per hour while your SkyComputer is running. It’s important to know that just because you close the LiquidSky app on your Android device doesn’t mean your SkyComputer will stop running or using up your SkyCredits. You’ll simply need to get in the habit of turning off your SkyComputer before shutting down the app in order to preserve your SkyCredits.

Currently LiquidSky works on most Android, Mac, & Windows devices. There’s no absolute certainty at this time but an iOS version might possibly become available at a later date.
