For the first time since the Blackberry PlayBook was released back in April you can now pre-order the tablet device from Amazon.com without having to go through a third party seller. Currently Amazon is accepting pre-orders for all models including 16GB, 32GB and 64GB PlayBook’s.
Up until now the PlayBook has in fact been for sale through Amazon, however in many cases not without hefty markup costs due to the fact orders involved 3rd party sellers. This is officially the first time PlayBook’s have been sold directly online. Now buyers have the option to purchase directly from Amazon themselves.
If you order now the expected shipment date is June 1st. To sweeten the deal Amazon is also providing absolutely free shipping, not a bad deal at all. It’s always nice to get a bonus like that. Amazon is also well known for having the best return policies, not that the PlayBook wouldn’t satisfy your tablet needs, but it’s still good to know just in case there are issues for whatever reason.
