Comments Off on 5 Signs That You Are Addicted To Your Tablet Tablets & Technology

Are you addicted to your iPad 2, PlayBook or Android tablet? If so don’t worry, you are not alone. Apparently the first step to recovery is to admit you have a problem in the first place. How can you tell if you are addicted to your tablet? Well here’s 5 good tell·tale signs that might very well point to such a possibility.

Sign #1: You Think Angry Birds Is An Official Sport

Some tablet fanatics would argue that the battle between pigs and birds is more important than the Superbowl or Stanley Cup. This of course is a matter of opinion. Sorry to burst your bubble though but it still doesn’t make Angry Birds an official sport.

Sign #2: You Get A Tattoo Of Your Favorite Tablet

To each their own I guess, but let’s just hope the next version of your favorite tablet doesn’t change too much. Getting tattoos removed can be rather painless, so I hear at least.

Sign #3: You Skip Dates To Play With Your Touch Screen

Well playing with your fancy new touch screen device is probably cheaper than going on a date, but seriously? Perhaps you just need to find a companion who is also obsessed with tablets, it would be a true match made in heaven, or something like that.

Sign #4: You Have More Apps Than Friends

If you have more apps than you do real life friends then you may have a problem. Just for the record, having a high Twitter following doesn’t necessarily count as being popular, at least not in real life. On a lighter note you can purchase our Friend Maker app for only $9.99.

Sign #5: You Suffer From Social Network Anxiety

It’s not the end of the world if you don’t know what Twitter or Facebook user sarahlovestablets did 5 seconds ago. Just sayin’.

One other sign which I excluded from the list above is when someone mentions it’s cloudy outside you reply by asking “Where can I download that app?” This often occurs only during extreme levels of tablet computer addiction. You may need to seek some type of intervention quickly if this applies to you. This is known as hitting rock bottom!

I almost feel dirty saying this but we will soon be releasing a Rock Bottom app. We will offer bundle discounts for those of you who also choose to purchase the Friend Maker app.
